Follow these 4 simple steps to keep your pieces looking their best year after year:

AVOID direct contact with beauty products such as perfume, hairspray, deodorant and makeup.

ALWAYS remove your jewelry before swimming, bathing or showering.

TO CLEAN your jewelry wipe with a soft, moist cloth and mild soap, avoid harsh detergents and never use jewelry cleaner on fashion pieces.

STORE each piece separately. The best way to store your necklaces is to hang them.

Also here are some important tips to help you keep your jewellery looking its best so that you can enjoy wearing it for years:

Sterling silver will naturally become oxidized and eventually tarnish. Storing silver jewellery in a sealed plastic bag or airtight box when it is not being worn will keep out the air that causes oxidation.

Brass may darken with wear, depending on body chemistry. If you don't like the dark patina, try to avoid getting your brass jewelry wet.

Keep goldplated jewelry away from hard surfaces. Bumps and scratches will cause the gold layer to wear away faster. Store your goldplated jewelry in a velvet lined jewelry box, or wrap it in a soft material that will prevent scratches.

Stainless steel jewelry won't rust but it can tarnish over time. Steel jewelry does not tarnish as fast as silver jewelry but the rate of tarnishing depends on how its used.
